How your thinking can affect you.

POSITIVE THINKING RELEASES THE POWER OF POTENTIAL.

People who think positively can see potential in even the most discouraging situations, while those who do not think positively are quick to point out the situations' problems and limitations.

One of the best stories that showed positive thinking releases the power of potential took place centuries ago.
God promised the people of Israel they would posses a rich land and fertile country known as Canaan. He didn't promise them its going to be easy, but he did promise them they would inhabit it- and when God makes a promise he keeps it.
The Israelite did send 12 men to go to Canaan to "spy out the land" and bring back a report. When they returned, 10 spies admitted that the land flowed with milk and honey but said the land was full of giants who would be impossible yo overcome, they allowed the presence of the giants to detract from the promises of God.

Joshua and Caleb brought back good reports, full of faith and confidence in God, and Caleb spoke up with confidence, saying, " Let us go up at once and possess it we are well able to conquer it"( numbers 13:30).The 10 spies thought the giants in the land were to big to kill, but Joshua and Caleb thought they were too big to miss. Joshua and Caleb were the only two men who were positive in the face of opposition from the giants.
" they didn't ignore the challenges, but they did not overemphasize them_ and they were the only two who entered the promise land."
The spies who died in the wilderness only saw what was and failed to see what could be. Their negative thinking produced defeatist attitudes.Being positive doesn't mean we deny the existence of difficulty; it means we believe God is greater than our difficulties. Train your brain to trust and believe God and to think positive thoughts that are based on HIS words.

So what am i saying? with a positive thinking you bring out that part of you that is full of potentials ready to be used.

Happy You!

How “Hope” Can Keep You Happy If You Do It Right“The very purpose of our life is happiness, which is sustained by hope.We have no guarantee about the future, but we exist in the hope of something better.Hope means keeping going, thinking, ‘I can do this.’ It brings inner strength, self-confidence, the ability to do what you do honestly, truthfully and transparently.”
– Dalai Lama"
Now, hope can lead to anxiety! How?  when the things we hoped for and planned for sometimes do not come to pass as we have wished. Becoming fixed on a hope we have in our head, about how we believe our future will transpire, can become a real source of anxiety and suffering rather than happiness. Why? Because when the plans that we were confident would turn out the way we hoped doesn't play out ,we may find ourselves sinking into unhappiness, and/or anxiety. We may lose hope in hope.  Now the question is should we never make plans then? Of course not. We can and should make plans. But we should set future…

I CAN

I can do whatever I need to do in life through Christ."I have strength for all things in Christ who empowers me [ I am ready for anything and equal to anything through him who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]. Philippians 4:13 "
The first power thought that has the power to transform our life is simply;I can do whatever i need to do in life through Christ.

In other words, i can handle whatever life hands me. I wonder, do you believe you can do whatever you need to do in life? or are there certain things trigger dread, fear, or cause you to say, " I couldnever do that!" when you think about them? The fact of the matter is, while some situations may be intensely undesirable or difficult for you, you can do whatever you need to do in life.

I know this because God tells us in His word that we have the strength to do all things because Christ empowers us to do so. Philippians 4:13. He doesn't say everything will be ea…

another thought today.

EXCHANGE THINGS THAT ARE NOT WORKING FOR YOU.
Hi guys.
So am back and have been thinking about what's been going on around me and I said to myself, not everything is gonna work out for me, so what do I do when these things don’t work out for me? Am pretty sure you have walked into a store or even at the market and when you pick up an item and it don’t feel right with you_ you pick up another that suits your test right? it could even be a clothing, you see it and it didn’t fit on, you exchange it for the right one that fits perfect.
That is how you exchange things that don’t work for you to things that work better for you.  Now this same principle applies to your thinking. If you will exchange your " i cants" for "I can" thoughts and begin to say i can do whatever I wanna do in life because \God strengthens me, you see remarkable changes begin to happen. If you build into your character the thought that with God's help, you are able to do whatsoever you need …
