What Is Peace?

"Peace is the beauty of life. It is sunshine. It is the smile of a child, the love of a mother, the joy of a father, the togetherness of a family. It is the advancement of man, the victory of a just cause, the triumph of truth"
                  Menachem Begin

Defining peace…Now that I think of it, its actually not easy to put it into words. you'll agree totally  that– an absence of violence is definitely not a definition of peace. Although it is a pretty good indication of the PRESENCE of peace.

From my own search for peace, I have found that peace is not so much a condition, but rather a state of being. Like truth, freedom, love and happiness – not so easy to describe or define although it can certainly be experienced.
Peace already exists - within us. Its always there-in everyone, no matter who you are, where you live or what you believe. We only need to be aware of it.

A peaceful mind thinks thoughts of peace, and speaks words of peace…and then such a person with such a peaceful mind will act in peace even try to make sure everyone and anything is peaceful, peace comes with joy only that person can fill. And so a whole set of “symptoms” of peace will follow…and more causes of peace will be created.

A peaceful mind is so much more powerful than a mind filled with anger or a distracted mind.

Happy You!

How “Hope” Can Keep You Happy If You Do It Right“The very purpose of our life is happiness, which is sustained by hope.We have no guarantee about the future, but we exist in the hope of something better.Hope means keeping going, thinking, ‘I can do this.’ It brings inner strength, self-confidence, the ability to do what you do honestly, truthfully and transparently.”
– Dalai Lama"
Now, hope can lead to anxiety! How?  when the things we hoped for and planned for sometimes do not come to pass as we have wished. Becoming fixed on a hope we have in our head, about how we believe our future will transpire, can become a real source of anxiety and suffering rather than happiness. Why? Because when the plans that we were confident would turn out the way we hoped doesn't play out ,we may find ourselves sinking into unhappiness, and/or anxiety. We may lose hope in hope.  Now the question is should we never make plans then? Of course not. We can and should make plans. But we should set future…

another thought today.

Hi guys.
So am back and have been thinking about what's been going on around me and I said to myself, not everything is gonna work out for me, so what do I do when these things don’t work out for me? Am pretty sure you have walked into a store or even at the market and when you pick up an item and it don’t feel right with you_ you pick up another that suits your test right? it could even be a clothing, you see it and it didn’t fit on, you exchange it for the right one that fits perfect.
That is how you exchange things that don’t work for you to things that work better for you.  Now this same principle applies to your thinking. If you will exchange your " i cants" for "I can" thoughts and begin to say i can do whatever I wanna do in life because \God strengthens me, you see remarkable changes begin to happen. If you build into your character the thought that with God's help, you are able to do whatsoever you need …
