What Is Peace?

"Peace is the beauty of life. It is sunshine. It is the smile of a child, the love of a mother, the joy of a father, the togetherness of a family. It is the advancement of man, the victory of a just cause, the triumph of truth"
                  Menachem Begin

Defining peace…Now that I think of it, its actually not easy to put it into words. you'll agree totally  that– an absence of violence is definitely not a definition of peace. Although it is a pretty good indication of the PRESENCE of peace.

From my own search for peace, I have found that peace is not so much a condition, but rather a state of being. Like truth, freedom, love and happiness – not so easy to describe or define although it can certainly be experienced.
Peace already exists - within us. Its always there-in everyone, no matter who you are, where you live or what you believe. We only need to be aware of it.

A peaceful mind thinks thoughts of peace, and speaks words of peace…and then such a person with such a peaceful mind will act in peace even try to make sure everyone and anything is peaceful, peace comes with joy only that person can fill. And so a whole set of “symptoms” of peace will follow…and more causes of peace will be created.

A peaceful mind is so much more powerful than a mind filled with anger or a distracted mind.

Happy You!

How “Hope” Can Keep You Happy If You Do It Right“The very purpose of our life is happiness, which is sustained by hope.We have no guarantee about the future, but we exist in the hope of something better.Hope means keeping going, thinking, ‘I can do this.’ It brings inner strength, self-confidence, the ability to do what you do honestly, truthfully and transparently.”
– Dalai Lama"
Now, hope can lead to anxiety! How?  when the things we hoped for and planned for sometimes do not come to pass as we have wished. Becoming fixed on a hope we have in our head, about how we believe our future will transpire, can become a real source of anxiety and suffering rather than happiness. Why? Because when the plans that we were confident would turn out the way we hoped doesn't play out ,we may find ourselves sinking into unhappiness, and/or anxiety. We may lose hope in hope.  Now the question is should we never make plans then? Of course not. We can and should make plans. But we should set future…

Breaking up bad habit

Breaking up Bad HabitWhat is a habit? Habit is an action performed repeatedly and automatically, usually without awareness. We all have habits different types , many of them are unique. Habits that are harmless are not necessarily the ones we must be concerned with, but the harmful habits need to be broken and replaced with good ones. God offers each of us a great life we must renew our minds and learn to think on purpose if we want to experience all He has planned for us.
Bad habits are not broken simply because we want to breaksome bad habit such as Swearing, Picking Your Nose, Biting Fingernails etc.; we must break them on purpose and that will require diligence and determination. Referring to the bible, David said that the man who wants to prosper and succeed needs to habitually ponder and meditate on God’s word day and night psalm 1:2-3. With enough discipline and consistency, we can break bad habits and new ones can be formed.

When you breaking apart with your old habit, look for a b…

I CAN

I can do whatever I need to do in life through Christ."I have strength for all things in Christ who empowers me [ I am ready for anything and equal to anything through him who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]. Philippians 4:13 "
The first power thought that has the power to transform our life is simply;I can do whatever i need to do in life through Christ.

In other words, i can handle whatever life hands me. I wonder, do you believe you can do whatever you need to do in life? or are there certain things trigger dread, fear, or cause you to say, " I couldnever do that!" when you think about them? The fact of the matter is, while some situations may be intensely undesirable or difficult for you, you can do whatever you need to do in life.

I know this because God tells us in His word that we have the strength to do all things because Christ empowers us to do so. Philippians 4:13. He doesn't say everything will be ea…
